Coleby Frye Kicks Off 2009 O’Reilly All Star Season with Solid Finishes in PA and OH |

Dover, PA (April 28, 2009) Coleby Frye Racing and 2008 MACS Rookie of the Year Coleby Frye opened their season a little less than a month ago driving the Larry Baer owned GRT Chassis #0 at Selinsgrove Speedway. Coleby has started three events in the Baer #0 with two top five finishes.
Coleby and his Fryeco Inc. / PA College of Technology / Keystone Trailer Services / TC Race Cars / JNJ Motorsports Media / Krenn Trucking #F1 Rocket Chassis GTO made it’s first appearance of the year on Friday, April 17th at Lernerville Speedway for the Inaugural O’Reilly All Star Late Model Series (ASLMS) sanctioned event that paid $5,000 to the winner. After qualifying 16th out of the 46 cars entered, Frye won his heat race putting him in the re-draw for the feature event. Coleby battled with local Lernerville stars and other regional stars for 50 laps to come home fourth when the checkered flag fell.
Frye’s fourth place finish set up Saturday’s trip to K-C Raceway in Chillicothe, OH for the second ASLMS event of the season. Coleby timed in 25th fastest out of the 35 cars entered and finished one position out of a transfer spot in his heat race. Frye was able to work the bugs out of his Rocket Chassis and went on to win his B-Main event putting him into the 50 lap A-Main event. Frye worked his way from the 17th starting position to his finishing position of 11th at the end of 50 laps. Coleby now sits third in the ASLMS Championship Point Standings heading into the ASLMS sanctioned ‘Lee Stultz Memorial’ at Winchester Speedway in Winchester, VA.
Coleby will be in action this Saturday, May 2 in the Baer owned #0 at Selinsgrove Speedway. Frye will also take the Baer owned GRT Chassis to Lernerville Speedway for the $10,000 to win, World of Outlaws Late Model Series sanctioned ‘Showdown in Sarvertown’ on Tuesday, May 5th. The family owned #F1 will be back in action on Saturday, May 9th at Winchester Speedway in Winchester, VA for the $5,000 to win, ASLMS sanctioned ‘Lee Stultz Memorial.’
